Where are you located?

We are located at 230 Nebo Walker Road in Clay County, West Virginia. To find us drive past Pizzas & Cream for 1 mile. When the road splits, make a left up the hill. Our entrance gate is the first driveway on the right!

If driving from I-79, take exit 40. Go north on Route 16 for 3 miles. Take a right on Nebo Walker Road. Drive 1 mile on Nebo Walker Road. When the road splits, make a left up the hill. Our entrance gate is the first driveway on the right!

We are a small family run company with only 5 rentals available. Due to the scale of our business, we are not able to easily book the rentals with short notice. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you to Walker Creek Farms & Cabins soon.
What is provided in each rental?
​
Each rental has a fully stocked Keurig coffee machine, refrigerator, stove, and microwave. We provide towels, hand soap, firewood (for outdoor fire pit), and charcoal (for outdoor grill). Each rental has an indoor bathroom with hot running water. Please plan to bring any toiletries and required food/snacks. We also have a radio and record player in each rental along with vintage albums for your listening pleasure along with a collection of books and a few board games.

What kind of vehicle is required to access Walker Creek Farms & Cabins?

Any vehicle can access the property.

Do the cabins and yurts have TVs?
​
Yes. Each rental comes with a smart TV and DVD player with DVDs of vintage movies. You are welcome to hook your smartphone up to the TV and access your streaming services.

Will I be able to access the internet?
​
Yes! Every rental boasts free Wifi.
Is there an additional fee for my dog(s)?
​
There is no additional fee. We love dogs! We will happily provide complimentary doggie beds and doggie treats for our furry guests upon request. The only thing we ask is that your puppies stay on leash while outdoors. We have some free roaming farm animals on site.

Do you provide fishing equipment?
​
We do not currently provide fishing equipment. If you want to fish in our fully stocked ponds, we encourage you to bring all necessary equipment.

Can I keep the fish I catch?
​
We are strictly catch and release.
You can expect to catch a wide variety of fish in our ponds! Trout(seasonal), bass, hybrid blue gill, sunfish, catfish and more!

Can I order room service or buy food on the property?
​
At this time, we do not sell food at Walker Creek Farms & Cabins. However, we do have a partnership with Bop and Nana's Bakery and Catering located a few miles aways. Place your order at least 1 day in advance and your food will be delivered to your door!

We are also located 1 mile from Pizzas & Cream, a critically acclaimed restaurant that offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Enjoy custom brick oven specialty pizzas, homemade ice cream, gelato, and Italian ice. Offering outdoor dining and take out. Cash only.

What is there to do on the property?
​
We have goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, & donkeys at the small barn - all are kid-friendly. They welcome petting and photos!
We also have paddle boats on Willow Lake and a playground for kids, over 6 miles of hiking/biking trails and fully stocked fishing ponds. There are horseshoe pits and even an axe throwing area!
